The Brasserie Schmëdd is your local brasserie with a great cadre in the middle of the forest and nature of the Ellergronn. With local products we offer you a beautiful place with natural flair and a special atmosphere.
A small food menu including weekly specials and a delicious suggestion is waiting for you. On our beverage menu you will find the appropriate drinks for a brasserie, local beer and many great luxembourgish wines from the Moselle.
Whether families, mountain bikers or hikers, with us everyone gets something out of it. With its traditional Luxembourgish cuisine and the industrial and natural heritage of the Ellergronn area, Brasserie Schmëdd is always worth a visit.

At Brasserie Schmëdd you can expect seasonal and traditional Luxembourgish cuisine with regional products. In addition, you will also find smaller dishes for the hunger in between, such as a croque-monsieur, various cakes and pies or a delicious ice cream.
Our kitchen is open for lunch and dinner.

Terrace
In the middle of nature.
On the beautiful terrace of the Brasserie Schmëdd between the two industrial halls and in the middle of the nature you can sit very comfortably. Enjoy your free time and relax with a tasty drink and a delicious meal.
In the immediate vicinity of our terrace, in addition to a petanque field, there is also a small playground for your children.
Ellergronn
A piece of luxembourgish culture
You will find the Brasserie Schmëdd on the grounds of the Ellergronn, which has a long and exciting history. For decades, this area in the south of Esch/Alzette was exclusively used for the mining of iron ore and thus contributed to the fact that the Luxembourg countryside could develop so well.
After the mines and the open mining had done their service and were closed, this area and the surrounding landscape were dramatically changed and declared as a nature reserve.
Nowadays, Ellergronn with its wealth of flora and fauna is the perfect recreational meeting point for the whole family.
